“Hands down the best pub food in town which is saying something. Took my brother who was in from out of town and we both couldnt be happier with both the food and the atmosphere. Also just a quick mention for the amazing staff, always friendly and happy for a chat.”

“Great experience! Staff were friendly and very accomodating. The meals were amazing! Six of us had different meals over 2 nights and all were of superior quality. Worth just coming for a meal. The rooms with ensuites were basic, but renovated, reasonably clean and comfortable - suitable for our needs of overnight stays and priced reasonably. The rooms without bathrooms were also fine. The shared bathrooms are dated and could do with a "deep clean", though have seen shared bathrooms in MUCH worse condition. Remembering, this old girl was rebuilt in 1947 after a fire. There are common areas eg lounge with TV, common kitchen facilities and balcony. The rooms were secure and had no trouble with keys or security. We parked on the main street to double down on security. Thank you Michael and Tiarnna for your hospitality, we'll see you next year!”

“Our motorcycle crew had dinner here. I had a lovely pizza, however, a friend of mine asked for a replacement steak as the first one wasn’t to her liking. They cooked another one and then we were satisfied. Staff were nice, relaxed and accommodating.”
